"In the name of God Amen 20 Feb 1637 Lawrence Mort of Manton, Badger being somewhat infirm in body but yet of good mind do this my last will and testament in manner and form. I give unto Elizabeth Morte the daughter of Arnot Mort the sum of two shillings, unto Elizabeth Mayor the daughter of Ellis Mayor the sum of two shillings, unto Joane Mollet the daughter of Richard Mollet the sum of two shillings, unto John Mort the sum of two shillings, unto George Mort the sonne of Edmund Mort the sum of two shillings, unto Richard Follett sonne of Richard the younger two shillings. Bequeath unto Anne Mort my wife, sole executrix of this my last will and testament".
