As a matter of interest, two generations of Mort's in the mid 19th. century were active in the Mormon Church. I found that this information in the branch records really consolidated one section of a branch for me.

Also just to let everyone know that the index for Lancashire wills are online at http://www.xmission.com~nelsonb/lws.htm . You access the site put your names in the boxes provided, select a time period and search. You the get a list of names. You can search on just a family name. Select one of the names that interest you by clicking in the left hand column, such as infra or supra etc.. This then gives you a list of film numbers. I have printed them out for easier reference. Note the film number for the year and family name initial you need, Then you can order the film from your local LDS Family History Center.These are filmed copies of the actual wills not transcripts.
