In the name of God Amen the xyth day of March 1581 Ellen Mort of ye parish of Sheen, widow, week in body but perfect of mind praise be make my last will and testament in manner and form following. First I bequeath my soul to Almighty God and my body to be buried in my parish church yard aforesaid and for my mortuary..Item I bequeath unto my son Thomas Mort one.. and matress. Item I bequeath to Willm Wheeldon my son in law, and to Agnes Gib wife, my daughter, my best brass pans, and to Alice ye daughter of my said son in law. Item I bequeath to Wm Woolley my son in law, and to John Gib wife my daughter .. And to Helen Woolley their daughter I bequeath to my said daughters Agnes and Helen the rest of all my .. And to Alice and Elizabeth my daughters equally to be divided between them. I bequeath to ye said Alice my said daughter ... Item I bequeath to Henry Mort my son..I order and make my said son Thomas Mort and Wm Wheeldon my said son in law my executors and I ordain and constitute Wm Woolley and Nicholas Cansell of ye same.
