I William Mort of Kersley in the Parish of Deane in the county of Lancaster and Diocese of Chester, Innkeeper I give and bequeath to Ann my wife all and singular the remainder of my said estate during her life or so long as she is my chaste widow, that if my wife be remarried after my decease, then I give, devise and bequeath to Ann Lomax, my wifes daughter, now infirm one fourth part of my estate and effects, and also to my daughter Maria one fourth part, and also to my son Adam one fourth part an also to my son William one fourth part of my said property, but in case my wife die before my children come to age of twenty one years then my will is that my executors after named shall cause my said estate and effects to be sold to the best advantage and the money put out to lawfull interest, And shall pay them as they come of age. And lastly I constitute and order Thomas Baron of Swinton, Innkeeper my executor, Ann Mort my beloved wife Executrix, dated Jan 22, 1806
