In the name of God Amen, I James Mort of Manchester Calenderer do make this my last will and testament. I give and bequeath the residue of my personal estate of what nature or kind unto Benjamin Halsworth of Manchester Fustian Calenderer, Joseph Armstrong of the same place Wine Merchant and Edmund Tetlow of the same place Chapman, my executors hereinafter named. In trust, nevertheless they my said Trustees and the survivors of maintenance education and bringing up of my two children James and Mary until they respectively attain their full age of twenty one years or be married which shall first happen, to be equally divided between them. Set my hand and seal eighteenth day of November 1773. He made his mark X
